According to the�Rome News-Tribune, on Monday afternoon, a motorcycle driver and passenger were injured when the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee pulled in front of them. �The accident occurred on Shorter Avenue near the entrance of Church�s Chicken and IGA grocery store. �Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the Jeep Cherokee is being investigated for driving under the influence. �Authorities are awaiting blood test results of the Jeep driver. �The motorcycle rider and passenger were both taken to Floyd Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
