Hyundai Recalls Over 250,000 Elantra Models

On Friday, February 27, 2015, NHTSA announced that Hyundai was recalling over 250,000 of their popular Elantra models. A sensor in the vehicles could malfunction causing a loss of power steering capability. The specific cars being recalled are2008-2010 Elantra vehicles manufactured June 1, 2008, to April 30, 2010, and 2009-2010 Elantra Touring vehicles manufactured November 1, 2008, to April 30, 2010.On the door frame of your drivers side door is usually a sticker that specifies the date your vehicle was manufactured. If your car fits between the dates above, contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-671-3059. Hyundais number for this recall is 127.
